Speaker: Pamela
Fox Denzler OTR/L, has been practicing for 30 years in a variety of
settings including, long term care, group homes, hospital based rehabilitation
and school systems. She has held positions of clinical specialist as well as
currently owning her own private practice. At the present time, as well as being
a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, she works with classroom teachers
in the school setting in the development of appropriate strategies to meet the
student’s educational needs. Pam is also a Licensed Brain Gym Instructor,
teaching classes as well as lecturing on the topic, and has incorporated the
technique into daily programming in schools and community based settings. She
continues to enjoy learning new strategies and interventions that will promote
growth with individuals that she works with both young and old.
The Cleveland district would like to express their deep appreciation for the excellent service Gina Kubec has provided as our Secretary and Co-Public Relations/Historian. There will also be an Education MSG offered on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Kent State, Ashtabula.
The Cleveland district is also supporting students by visiting Cleveland District Occupational Therapy programs, passing out 2010 Conference bags, and encouraging OOTA and AOTA membership. Tiphaney Lanham, who is SOTA President at EHOVE reported 13 out of 24 students became an OOTA member & 12 out of 24 became an AOTA member.
Please consider helping our district through volunteering! We need to fill the current open board positions: Treasurer and Mental Health MSG.
