Together\, we’ll meet with legislators\, share our expertise\, and push for meaningful change. \nWhy Participate? \n\nLearn how state policy impacts your profession and your patients.\nMeet face-to-face with lawmakers and legislative staff. No experience needed!\nConnect with fellow OT practitioners and students from across the state.\nShare your passion for occupational therapy and raise awareness about our vital role in healthcare.\n\nDay-of Schedule \n\n8:30am – Breakfast at Barnes and Thornburg (41 S. High St.\, Suite 3300\, Columbus\, OH 43215)\n\nRecommend parking in Huntington Center Garage (43 W. Capital St.). Bring parking ticket and our firm can validate. Once inside building\, head to security desk (from parking garage\, you enter on same level\, from street you need to take escalators up one level). Security will have names of attendees so give them your name and say you are going to Barnes & Thornburg.\n\n\n9:30am – Meet and Group Photo at Ohio Statehouse Rotunda (1 Capital Square\, Columbus\, OH 43215)\n\nAttendees who come to breakfast will walk over to Statehouse. For anyone not attending breakfast\, you will meet the group at the Ohio Statehouse in the Rotunda. You can enter the statehouse via State Street (Rotunda will be straight ahead once you enter) or Third Street (Rotunda will be one level up and through the Atrium).\n\n\n10:00am to 12:00pm – AM Legislative Meeting Window\n\nState Representative meetings will take place at the Riffe Center (77 S. High St.); attendees will be escorted to these meetings. State Senator meetings will take place in the Senate Building (attached to Ohio Statehouse on Third Street / East side). Committee hearings take place either in the Senate Building or Statehouse.\n\n\n12:00pm to 1:00pm – Lunch with Licensure Board (Ohio Statehouse Café)\n\nWe have invited OTPTAT Board Director Missy Anthony and any Board Members to attend a luncheon with our group to discuss relevant issues. The Statehouse Café is located in the basement of the Ohio Statehouse.\n\n\n1:00pm to 3:00pm – PM Legislative Meeting Window\n\nState Representative meetings will take place at the Riffe Center (77 S.
