Our annual conference is shaped by the dedication of volunteers like you. Each committee plays a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for attendees, presenters, and sponsors alike. Find the committee that fits your strengths and interests, and sign up below!

Program Committee The Program Committee builds the heart of the conference — the agenda itself. Members review submitted abstracts and paper presentations, select sessions that reflect the breadth and depth of occupational therapy practice, and coordinate conference events to create a cohesive, engaging learning experience for all attendees.

Sponsor Committee The Sponsor Committee cultivates the partnerships that help bring the conference to life. Members identify potential sponsors, develop tiered sponsorship packages with meaningful benefits, and build relationships that encourage organizational involvement and support for OOTA’s mission.

Volunteer Committee The Volunteer Committee creates the bridge between OT students and the profession. Members recruit and engage students for active, hands-on involvement in on-site conference activities — giving the next generation meaningful exposure to the association and the broader OT community.

Poster Committee  New in 2026! The Poster Committee is a brand-new addition this year, created to better support our poster presenters. Members serve as a resource before the conference — answering questions and helping presenters prepare — and then provide on-site guidance to ensure poster presentations run smoothly and professionally.

Site & Hospitality Committee The Site & Hospitality Committee owns the attendee experience from start to finish. Members identify and confirm all items attendees will receive (including curating swag bag contents within a board-approved budget) and work closely with staff to execute every hospitality detail that makes our conference feel welcoming, polished, and memorable.
