Description
1 Contact Hours – This elective centers disability justice and neurodiversity-affirming practice in occupational therapy. Participants will examine the impact of ableism and exclusionary systems, apply strengths-based and affirming frameworks, and critically evaluate policies and practices. The course emphasizes identifying opportunities to create more accessible, inclusive, and empowering care for disabled and neurodivergent clients.
