Responsive Occupational Therapy Practices
This micro-credential equips occupational therapy practitioners with practical knowledge and reflective skills to deliver equitable, responsive, and meaningful care across Ohio communities.
This micro-credential combines foundational learning with population-specific exploration to support inclusive occupational therapy practice. Each module features a 45–60 minute video presentation delivered by occupational therapy practitioners from Ohio and across the United States.
Core courses provide foundational knowledge that can be used as a guiding framework, while elective courses dive deeper into specific populations and contexts.
Throughout each course, participants will reflect on and address personal biases and systemic inequities, examine disparities affecting occupational engagement, and integrate strategies throughout the occupational therapy process, ensuring care is client-centered, respectful, and impactful.

Microcredential programming participants will have 90 days from the date of enrollment to complete their coursework and attain their certificate. Participants must complete at least 4 elective courses in addition to the 4 required core courses.
