Objectives 

  1. Identify the influence that mental illness, substance abuse, culture, and trauma could play on a clients treatment and overall plan of care. 
  2. Acquire a holistic view of your clients including the complex and sensitive issues they may face on a daily basis.
  3. Increase an awareness of client-centered approaches to facilitate client involvement and increase positive outcomes with treatment.
